Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Bank Converter Excel is built around a single promise: your financial data stays on your device. This policy explains what that means and what limited information the website itself handles.
Your bank statements never leave your browser
When you convert a statement, the PDF is read and parsed entirely by JavaScript running in your own web browser. The file is never uploaded, transmitted, logged, or stored on any server we control. We do not see, receive, or have any access to the contents of your statements or the resulting spreadsheets.
Because the conversion is fully client-side, you can disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded and the tool will still work.
What we do not collect
- We do not require an account, email address, or any sign-up.
- We do not store your PDFs, transactions, or converted files.
- We do not track which bank you use or what your statement contains.
Basic website analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand overall traffic (for example, how many people visit a page). These measure the website itself and never include the contents of any file you convert.
Advertising
This site may display ads to keep the tool free. Third-party ad providers may use cookies to serve relevant ads. Any such processing relates to general browsing, not to your statement data, which is never available to them.
